Ring of Fire: Saturn in Aries

Round 1: May 24th – September 1st, 2025

Big moves coming in…steadily but with FORCE! Saturn, enforcer of boundaries, karma, discipline, and structure just left porous Pisces, where it’s been schooling us since 2023 📚.

⛔Saturn is the planet of constriction and reality checks. It tells us ‘no.’
Aries is the sign of courage, assertiveness, wants, and drive—it says ‘yes.’
The changes ahead in this dynamic are DEEP.

🪐—aka the greater malefic—challenges us and forces us to GROW 🌿 (the other malefic is Mars). It’s in its fall in Aries. That means it struggles and cannot help us as much. Le sigh. Like Virgo in the South Node now, structure and systems malfunction. 🌪️🧯

🐢Imagine the tortoise and the occupying the same body, space, and time—got it?🐇Aries and Saturn are attempting to move at different paces and for different reasons.

Saturn plays the long game—its Greek counterpart was Kronos, Father ⌛. It’s Schoolmarm Energy. Aries is all about instant gratification—the 👶of the Zodiac. It’s ‘me, me, me’, but Saturn course corrects, encouraging us to take responsibility for our wants. Expect friction and impatience😰.

KEY JAWN: When the astrology brings Challenge, we bring Grounding. Do the things: Rest. Hydrate. Meditate. Touch grass. Reflect. Make gratitude lists. Come back to your values—continually. Do not fear the astrology. NOTE THE LESSONS: Saturn will keep bringin’ ‘em. But that’s the beauty of Saturn—it forces us to Adult. How can we work W/ Saturn instead of against?

If you’re old enough to remember the mid- to late ‘90s, you may see similar themes on societal level.

If you were born with Saturn in Aries, this is your Saturn Return—brace yourself. Personal growth is an understatement.

Saturn trails behind Neptune, which rolled into Aries on March 30, and will hang out much longer than the Disciplinarian—but they’ll be there together for the foreseeable future. Neptune dissolves boundaries—between reality and fantasy, certainty and delusion—it’s known as The Veil. Neptune, Saturn, and Aries…it’s a hot mess. On the other hand, Saturn might function as an ⚓anchor in contrast to the 🌊and 🔥.

Note: this is just the opening chapter of Saturn in Aries. It’s just a taste. In September, Saturn retrogrades back into Pisces to help us finish our growth there. Stay ready. Saturn has given us two years to make progress in the house Pisces occupies—time to wrap it up.

Check out what house in your chart Aries occupies. That’s where the disruption happens. This area has been worked A LOT in 2025 already (Venus, Mercury, the last eclipse, now Neptune). Who will you be when you emerge from the fire?
