Flirt Like You Mean It: Venus in Aries

March 6 - March 30

Feeling a little deflated? Boo. That may be the house in your chart that resides in Pisces. For the past 2 years, Pisces and Aries have been supercharged by energy not only from the personal planets when they are there (Mercury, Venus, and Mars, who travel more quickly, and thus more frequently to a sign), but also from Saturn and Neptune who just left the building. Pisces and Aries got a good working over from those planets moving forward and then retrograding in those 2 signs last year. Venus is the first of the personal planets this year to follow Saturn and Neptune into the warrior sign, the first in the zodiac. More notably, she’s the first to head in since their conjunction at the Aries Point (o degrees).

🌟Over the past month or so, all of the personal planets were in the watery sign of creativity, mysticism, spirituality, and wholeness. Venus too was there in the sign where she shines best. Venus is exalted in Pisces, so of all the signs of the zodiac, that is where she does her best work. Now she peaces out of Pisces, and joins Saturn and Neptune in Aries. THIS is a combo. We've seen what's happened since Saturn and Neptune met at the zero degree of Aries (the beginning of the entire zodiac) on February 20, now in the sign of war. Mars ruled that conjunction. We're in for a mixed bag with this ingress.

❤️‍🔥On one hand, Venus left her sign of exaltation, Pisces, and moved into the sign where she does worst, Aries. I mean—Venus in Aries is sultry and fun; a little firecracker is she, but she's not exactly focused on unity and connection and balance in the home of Mars. In Aries, Venus is fiery, confident, fierce, unapologetic and cunning (even a bit naughty ;-). She’s not interested in accepting that with which she does not agree. She’s a diva and a creatrix. It's spicy, so flirt only if you mean it. Aries moves fast. It sounds fun, but Venus is in her fall here, meaning she struggles to help us and to carry out her role (the way Mercury struggles in Pisces). Venus in Aries is all about action. Maybe there’s social cohesion, maybe there shouldn't be? She may inspire action against injustice.

💞On the other, she's making sweet conjunctions to both Neptune and Saturn this weekend. Let's hope they give us a boost. To have a Venus-Neptune meet-cute this weekend means we focus on the dream--the ideal and the fantasy. How big and beautiful is it? Then she turns to Saturn on Sunday and we create the container, the structure or framework for that vision. If you need to revisit your Aries intentions (in relation to Saturn and Neptune) this weekend is a good time to do it.

🎨With Venus in Aries, we may also question our self-worth and our values. If you remember last year when Venus retrograded in Pisces and Aries, maybe reflect on any lessons related to her realm (beauty, relationships, art, social cohesion, justice, balance, self-worth). Have you integrated that review? This time will tell.
