We’re Going DEEP Scorpio Season

October 21-November 22

Scorpio season, but EXTRA. Not only is the sun in Scorpio, but Luna also scooted in right after her new moon in Libra, AND we’ve got a few twists and turns to layer on the depth. Add to that a gaggle of transits that take us to our edge. During Scorpio season we go deep. We’re a month into autumn, fully in a season defined by transformation, by release, by excavation. Scorpio season is for exploring our emotional and psychological depths. We crave more meaning, we want more feeling. Forget chit chat and time fillers. Personal and relational exploration and investigation are the order of the day.

What to do in Scorpio season: A time of introspection, turn the mirror onto yourself. Follow nature’s lead and marinate on what needs to be shed. What is calling your attention? Where are you holding on to extra burdens? What do you need to release? Beware the temptation to be too skeptical or distrustful with others. Be the investigator, not judge and jury. No need for rash decisions: Mars is here until November 4, so resisting aggressive action is part of the assignment. Winter is yet to come; for now we’re in the transition.

Speaking of transition, we’re also at the threshold of spooky season, spirit season. Halloween, Samhain, and Día de los Muertos are all teed up to remind us of the thinning veil. Death, our ancestors, rebirth…they’re not as remote as they seem. How are you honoring those who came before? Just as much as you can ask for their support and blessings, you can give them your gratitude, give them their flowers.

That’s not all: we have a grand trine this week among the soul houses. Mercury and Mars in Scorpio, and Neptune and Saturn in Pisces are all trining each other, and the great bearer of good things: Jupiter in Cancer. The vibe is harmonious. There's a lot to unpack here, so here goes:

The soul houses are the 4th, 8th, and 12th houses of the zodiac. The 4th house is Cancer, the sign of care, compassion, mothering, nurturing, ancestors, family, and home. That's where Jupiter is, and it's exalted--the best position it can be in. Scorpio is the 8th house, the house of death, rebirth, sex, and transformation. Its ruling planet is Mars, and Mars is there now. So is Mercury (deep convos, PS.). Then, in Pisces, the 12th house, we have Saturn and Neptune. The 12th house is the house of behind-the-scenes life, the unconscious, the subconscious, and escapism. These placements will be different in your personal birth chart, but for the Collective, this is where they are. In a trine, the planets are looking at each other, as if in a triangle. They can see each other, which is a good condition to be in. With Jupiter involved, there are blessings all around. So whatever you need to be infused with goodness, now’s the time.
